Casual Physicist :
Ohms Law :
Ohm’s law states that at a constant temperature, the steady current flowing through a conduction is directly proportional to the potential difference between the two ends of the conductor.
V = IR
Drift Velocity :
Drift Velocity is defined as a velocity with which free electrons get drifted towards the positive terminal, when an electric field is applied
The Term Mobility of Charges :
Three applications of super conductors :
(1) Super
conductor forms the basis of energy saving power system, namely the super
conducting generators, which are smaller in size and weight in comparison with
conventional generators.
(2) Super
conducting magnetic propulsion systems may be used to launch satellites into
orbits directly from the earth without the use of rockets.
(3)
Superconductors can be used as memory or storage elements in computers.
Temperature coefficient of resistance :
The temperature coefficient of resistance is defined as the ratio of increase in resistance per degree rise in temperature to its resistance at 0 deg C.
