Green Sun: The Beginning Epi 03 - The First Battle

Vimal discovered Raju's plan. He tried to stop him. But Raju was far more powerful. Vimal could fight. He could fly. He could release green energy. He could move faster than ordinary humans. But Raju didn't fight personally. He controlled an army of advanced robots. Millions of machines surrounded Vimal. The battlefield became a storm of explosions and energy. Vimal fought alone. One robot fell. Then another. Then hundreds. But there were too many. Eventually, Vimal was surrounded. Raju appeared on a giant holographic screen. "You're trying to save a world that isn't yours." Vimal looked at him. "Your people don't have to become our enemies." Raju laughed. "Enemies? Your people have something my people need." "Resources." "That's all that matters." Vimal looked at the army behind Raju. "No." Raju became silent. "Resources aren't the only thing that matters."

Vimal realized something. He could destroy Raju. He could defeat his robots. But if he simply killed Raju, another ruler could eventually replace him. The real problem wasn't one man. It was fear. Vimal entered Raju's command center. Instead of attacking him, he spoke. "You think fear makes people loyal." Raju raised his weapon. "It does." "No." Vimal stepped closer. "Fear makes people obey you while you're watching." He looked directly at Raju. "But when you're gone, fear becomes hatred." Raju said nothing. Vimal continued. "You made your people afraid of you." "You made them afraid of each other." "You made them believe that anyone outside your planet was their enemy." "Eventually, that fear will become violence." "And that violence won't stop with Earth." "It will destroy your own civilization." Raju lowered his weapon slightly. Vimal continued. "You don't need to conquer Earth." "You need to cooperate with it." "Our planet has resources." "Your planet has technology." "We can share." "We can survive together." Raju looked at the images of his dying planet. For the first time in years, he wondered if he had chosen the wrong path.
