The Internet Business Journey Epi 05 - Creating a Simple Website
A website does not need to be complicated to become useful.
For a new online business, a simple website can act as a digital home—a place where potential customers can understand who you are, what you offer, and how to contact you.
The first version can be built around just a few essential pages. A Home page can introduce the business and explain its main value. A Services page can clearly describe what you provide. A About page can establish credibility, while a Contact page gives visitors an easy way to reach you.
The purpose is not to fill the website with information. It is to make the important information easy to find.
You can start with a domain name, a simple website builder, and a clean design. You don't need expensive animations or complicated features. A professional-looking website should load quickly, work well on mobile devices, and guide visitors toward a clear next step.
Your website can also become a central point for everything else you do online. Social media profiles, portfolio samples, blog articles, videos, newsletters, online stores, and contact details can all connect back to one place.
As the business grows, the website can grow with it.
You might eventually add an online booking system, digital products, a newsletter, customer testimonials, a store, or educational content. But those features can come later.
The first goal is simple:
Create a trustworthy online presence that clearly tells people what you do and gives them a reason to take the next step.
A simple website may only take a small amount of time and money to create, but it can become the foundation on which an entire online business is built.
